Bessanio comes to Milestone Properties Cayman with excellent provenance; formerly the Leasing Manager for the Island's largest developer of Class A commercial office and mixed-use space - namely Dart. Managing over 300,000 square feet of Cayman's foremost commercial real estate products and leasing diverse real estate environments, including the commercial and retail offerings of Camana Bay, Regatta Office Park and The Flagship Building in downtown George Town, in addition to residential properties. Due to his extensive career and years of experience in Cayman commercial real estate, it affords him the ability to negotiate the best terms for his clients as possible.
As the second eldest of nine siblings… Bessanio was never alone, growing up during the booming construction days in the late 70’s early 80’s of the beloved Cayman Islands. Basso, as he’s widely known by his friends, family, and clients alike – left Grand Cayman at the age of 12 and headed off to boarding school at Grenville College in North Devon, UK. He would later return to the Cayman Islands to complete his last year of High School and then onto college in Tampa, FL. Starting his career as a Police Constable in the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, where he served his community for two years, in 2000, he traded his badge for what has been a successful career as Property Manager of a 70,000 square foot business center on the outskirts of George Town.
His creative and out-of-the-box thinking enables him to maintain excellent tenant-landlord relations with a focus on building solid relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction to enhance sales performance. Perhaps, one of the best qualities of Bessanio is his highly professional attitude and a perspective that supports accountability. All these qualities make him the go-to person for turnaround sales and leasing situations.
Apart from being an excellent Commercial Real Estate Specialist at Milestone Properties Cayman, Bessanio is also a loving Father to two daughters; he loves spending time with his family and friends, enjoying Cayman's many beautiful beaches and deep-sea fishing in his spare time.
